Resolution LCD, and the decision to purchase a laptop

The LCD is the window to your computer
A D610 screen is 14.1 “and is the size of the screen you can get the D610, because the physical dimensions of the laptop. However, the resolution decides the LCD. The resolution is the number of pixels available on screen in terms of number of pixels horizontal axis and the number of vertical axis. Quick note here if you have a very high resolution small screen objects on the screen is very small. Similarly, a large low-resolution color screen will appear much larger objects.
In the D610, that I spoke earlier with 14.1 “LCD is available in two resolutions. The first resolution XGA resolution (Extended Graphics Array) or 1024 x 768. Alternatively, SXGA (Super Extended Graphics Array Plus) or 1400 x 1050 resolution. I Some laptop manufacturers to give you a choice in screen resolution, so be sure to consider the various options available before purchasing.
If you want to know the resolution of your computer resolution LCD can be adjusted by clicking on Start-> Control Panel-> Display Properties
XGA property should show 1024 x 768
WXGA property should show 1366 x 768
WXGA property should show 1440 x 900
WXGA property should show 1600 x 900
SXGA display should show 1280 x 1024 Property
SXGA display should show 1400 x 1050 Property
WSXGA property should show 1280 x 854
WSXGA property should show 1680 x 1050
UXGA display should show 1600 x 1200 Property
WUXGA Display property should show 1920 x 1200
For Windows Vista: Right-click on Desktop -> Graphics Properties
In most web pages the most fit well in that resolution without much side scrolling. My preferred screen resolution is 1280 x 854 WSXGA of 14.1 screen.
